For the second year in a row, Michael moderated a panel for ACTRA in L.A. The theme was "Getting Cast" and featured casting directors April Webster (multiple Star Wars and Star Trek films, Mission: Impossible), Christian Kaplan, Sr. VP Casting, Fox Studios (Ice Age, Deadpool, Logan), and Sara Isaacson (Manifest, The Mentalist, Bates Motel, Fringe).
Michael pitched, curated and moderated this panel on "Casting Character Actors" for the SAG Foundation. Panelists included Dorian Frankel (Veep, Baskets, Knocked Up), Eric Souliere (American Horror Story, 9-1-1, Law and Order True Crime), and Carol Goldwasser (Cousins for Life, Hannah Montana, Austin & Ally).
Michael was honored to moderate this stellar panel of Canadians – Molly Parker (House of Cards, Lost in Space), Lyriq Bent (She's Gotta Have it, The Book of Negroes) and Neve Campbell (House of Cards, Scream movies) for the Canadian actors union annual ACTRA in LA event at the Beverly Hilton. The panel gave generous advice on how to excel at television series work.
